The Hot Chips Club is a club of one. One Englishman abroad in Australia looking for chips that resemble chips from a chippy in his homeland. As I visit restaurants and takeaways I'll be taking the chippies into consideration to see if they can make me feel like I'm eating chip shop chips from back home (as much as chips can).

The Hot Chips Club site is in no way an indication of good or bad chips. All the chips that make it onto the club are delicious (I wouldn't want to shame anyone with bad reviews). The purpose of the site is solely to find the grail of British chippy chips in Australia.
